A 22-year-old upstate New York man has been accused of hanging his girlfriend's four-month-old kitten with a belt. Fortunately for prosecutors, he made a videotape of it.Joanne Cichy told Syracuse police she couldn't find her kitten when she returned home after trick-or-treating with her children on Halloween night. WHat she did find, the next day, was a video on her digital camera showing the kitten hanging from the apartment door with a belt around its neck.
The video showed Cichy's live-in boyfriend, Rascell Williams, going in and out of the camera shot, as the kitten struggled and eventually went motionless. However, it did not die, and was later found alive under the porch.
Williams has been charged with unjustifiable animal cruelty. Is there such as thing as justifiable animal cruelty? Perhaps for Williams, there is.

In my opinion this is a big crime and government have to punished them..

Animal abuse is just the beginning. Obviously this “waste of human flesh” poor excuse for a man has psych issues to have to attempt to harm/kill a defensless kitten to get back at his girlfriend. Our judicial system should make animal abuse a felony, and maybe people would think twice. Many people would argue this is too harsh, or inhumane- what about what is inhumane to the animal? And what about the people who eventually turn to abusing people or children.
Well I personally think years in jail is appropriate, but I think people usually just get away with that and then some dumb crime that doesn't hurt anyone will get someone 20 years in jail or something.

What a crack minded person he is! so cruel! How can he do so? Thank god the kitten was not dead.such people deserves this that--Williams has been charged with unjustifiable animal cruelty.
