At least three NFL sources tell ESPN that Rush Limbaugh will be dropped from a potential ownership group that is attempting to buy the St. Louis Rams. The inclusion of Limbaugh in the purchase group has caused a firestorm with many, including NFL Players union executive director DeMaurice Smith slamming the possibility of Limbaugh becoming an owner.Additionally, this week, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell addressed Limbaugh's "candidacy," saying "divisive comments are not what the NFL is all about. I've said many times before, we're all held to a high standard here. I would not want to see those comments coming from people who are in a responsible position in the NFL -- absolutely not."
Earlier on Wednesday, Limbaugh said on his radio show:
"I'm not even thinking of exiting. I'm not even thinking of caving. I am not a caver. None of us are. We have been betrayed by too many who have caved. Pioneers take the arrows. We are pioneers. It's a sad thing but our country over 200 years old now needs pioneers all over again, but we do."Thing is, Limbaugh isn't the one who decides who stays in or leaves the ownership group. It's the point man, Dave Checketts, chairman of the NHL's St. Louis Blues. Three-quarters of the league's 32 owners would have to approve any sale to Limbaugh and his group. Checketts knows when he has no chance.

The use of unidentified sources, fabrication, and lies are commonplace in our State Run Media. They have given themselves to the fascists who want to control all aspects of life in the United States. The fact that they have given themselves up to the fascist ideals leaves them with less self-respect than the Vichy government of WWII France.
Loyalty to the Party, the Democratzi Party, is what they espouse. When common sense would suggest that their loyalty should be to Liberty, Freedom, and Truth. But common sense is uncommon and they have given up their inheritance, which was forged in blood, cured with sweat, made precious by war.
The unjust persecution of Mr. Limbaugh is but another example of the State-run Media using their dimishing power to marginalize their enemies. Without doubt anyone who speaks truth or uses facts to refute the positions of Liberalism are enemies of the State Run Media, the current administration, the Democratzi Party, and the father of lies.
If somebody says something hurts, you should listen to them. Just be truthful.
Rush is learning some hard lessons.
Be nice to people and they will be nice to you. Say hurtful and mean things and people will not like you. Elementary.
I had a dentist who use to ask,"Does that hurt?" when I'd groan,"YES..," he'd say ,"No it doesn't!"
I've grown very bored of the casual use of "censorship" and "freedom of speech" to mean that anyone can say anything about anything without consequences. It seems to me that this episode illustrates the applicability of two values that conservatives trumpet: consequences and the wisdom of the market.
Because of what Limbaugh has said in the past, his connection to this financial transaction made it more likely to fail. He was cut from the deal because his presence adversely affected the potential profitability of the deal for all involved. The market has spoken. Adam Smith's invisible hand bitch slapped Rusty, and hard. Get over it.
nobody can say anything without consequences. I think that this episode describes apply their loyalty is freedom, freedom and truth. But common sense is not common, and have abandoned their heritage ..
