Rush Limbaugh Calls for a Coup
Listen to what Limbaugh says. He missed out on being the Worst Person in the World Award on Monday's "Countdown with Keith Olbermann," but not by much. He definitely sounds like he's calling for a coup, which is treason, isn't it, Rush?
With regards to North Korea's missile tests last week, Limbaugh said:
I wonder what Obama is gonna do. He'll probably call up Hugo Chavez to find out what to do about it, except Hugo's in the hills marshalling forces to invade Honduras. And if we had any good luck, Honduras would send some people here and help us get our government back.To which Ombermann said:
Send some people here. Help us get our government back. What does that imply? Foreign nationals from Honduras to do what? Add to the political discourse? Or some sort of call to armed insurrection against the elected government of the United States?Watch it:

Sounds as if Rush hasn't kicked his drug habit. Perhaps Mr. Limbaugh should banish himself to that island in the Pacific with all the other addicts...like he once advocated. I hope he continues to suggest such unpatriotic nonsense and one day his loyal, patriotic listeners filter through all the crap and banish him to the dust bin of history.
This is why every attempt at liberal talk radio has been a miserable failure. You libs have absolutely NO sense of humor! Unless it's the mindless hate speech of a moron like Keith Olbermann, who ironically enough really IS the Worst Person in the World!
If what Rush said was supposed to be funny- I'm not laughing. Get our government back? From whom? When the Bush administration passed the "patriot act" which arguably took away our civil liberties, Rush wasn't calling for a coup. And even those of us whom disagreed with the Bush administration weren't calling for insurrection. If a liberal had said this he would have lost his job (i.e. Bill Maher.)In Rush's world the truth is unimportant, only the rhetoric matters. I see his language as code words, fanning the flames of hatred that seem to be smoldering on the far right.
