Exclusive Michael Jackson Pepsi Ad Accident Footage Unearthed

US Magazine obtained never-before-seen footage of Michael Jackson's horrific 1984 Pepsi ad accident, in which his hair was set on fire by stage pyrotechnics.

The video shows things went well until the sixth take of the Pepsi commercial, whereupon the fireworks went off too early, before Michael Jackson descended the stairs. It's a much scarier moment on video; I'd only seen stills in the past.

Some have theorized, and US Magazine says, in the article in the magazine, that Jackson was never the same afterward, and that this led him down the road to his painkiller addiction.
