Limbaugh Points Out Michael Jackson Died During the "First Black President's Administration"
Today on his show, Rush Limbaugh gave forth his opinion on the life of Michael Jackson, as it pertains to those presidents who were in power during those periods.
Here's my question: so what? You're trying to tell me that the president in power had anything to do with Michael Jackson's success, or his death?
Here's what Limbaugh said:
Michael Jackson's biggest successes, and as it turns out his final successes, real successes took place in the eighties. That was Billie Jean, Thriller and all this. I mean he was as weird as he could be but he was profoundly, because of his weirdness, an individual. He wasn't a group member. He reached a level of success that may never be equaled. He flourished under Reagan; he languished under Clinton-Bush; and died under Obama. Let's hope the parallel does not continue. So first we're saying the parallel lies in the administration during Jackson's life, and then we're attributing his death to Obama. Wonderful.
I did just say it. You want me to go back and say it again? Okay, Michael Jackson's a weirdo. As such he was a supreme individual. I mean, he defined individuality. Not a group member. He reached a level of success that may never be equaled. He flourished under Reagan, languished under Clinton and Bush, and died under Obama. I mean facts are facts, the timeline is the timeline, let's hope the parallel doesn't continue.
Now, I meant to get into this yesterday, ladies and gentlemen. This is from State-Run Associated Press. By the way, you know something I've noticed? You should look for this, folks. You might have trouble finding it. You have to trust me. More and more -- (interruption) what do you mean you can't believe I said it? I said it twice. What about it is not true? What about what I said is not true? He flourished under Reagan, languished under Clinton and Bush, that's bipartisan, got a Republican and Democrat in there, and died under Obama. Michael Jackson died during the era of the first black president. You want me to say it that way? Now, don't interrupt me anymore. I'm doing a program here. This is the problem when the host and the boss, I, give access to the staff members to me via IFB intercom that you can't hear.

My reaction to just about everything Limbaugh spouts: Whatever....
I think he makes a valid point but he draws the wrong conclusion. One of the reasons why Jackon ended up the way he did was also the same reason why he ended up becoming the King of Pop. He was a tragic figure with a bad upbringing. Today's generation can learn from that era as we see what Obama symbolises.
I don't really know what to say, but Rush kind of hits the proverbial nail on its head: Michael Jackson was an innovator and an original character from his departure as a J5 lead singer. He definitely caused a stir with his music, and weirdness. He definitely had deep personal problems, some very illicit ones, and some just relatively eccentric ones.
I get it. Metaphorically we are all going to die under Obama, as individuals and financially.
We are being drowned in liberal groupthink and pressured (and threatened) to subscribe to Political Correctness.
Moreover, Obamas tax and spend policies lead nowhere but down. The government will not cut their spending. Therefore, as the tax base shrinks they have to take an ever-bigger slice of your individual pie to pay for their groups programs.
The only things that are certain are death and taxes. Under Obama the only things that are certain are misery before death and taxes.
I can't believe people listen to this CRAP! What Idiots you all ARE!
Did Michael Jackson have ObamaCare?
Maybe MJ was one of those 20,000 that die due to lack of healthcare.
Just asking.
Its too bad Limbaugh cant meet the same fate. I can't believe Obama is the blame for everything bad in the world. Whats next he gonna blame Obama for his Oxycontin abuse and because he is an obese POS.
You know Michael may have appeared to some as a bit odd, but he knew how to get the meaning behind his message across. People trying to change one another, when really the only way to change someone is to change yourself... "Man in the Mirror" Great song. My all time favorite song Michael sang was "Ben" way back when he was just a little guy. I once read that Ben was a little mouse in the house that Michael would talk to, trying to escape the abuse he endured at the hands of his father as a child. I hope that no matter what his father does not get to benifit from any part of Michael's legacy. Perhaps he can find himself a rat to console him.... Nothing makes me more angrier than someone who treats their child like they are unloved and unworthy, and then cries over their loss when the child dies.
I feel that Limbaugh, this man, is a pure racist at heart. He throws out his narrow minded and one-sided perceptions, as if they are logical, when in fact they are the opposite. I have never ever valued any thing he has said nor anyone like him. I just happen to catch his comments and posted my own.
Down with rubbish... Up with truth
NOT Annonymous... it's tmar
U really hate blacks don't u. i mean how low can u go. If it was a white man in office would u even make that stupid comment. i don't see how in the world people like u can walk around and say some of the crap u say. Face it a black man is in office get over it! One thing has nothing to do with other. Just come out and say it u hate black people.
Great point. Even the messiah can't raise MJ from the dead! What kind of messiah is that?
I thought Obama was going to heal this nation and we only get death and record high unemployment.
I am convinced the dumbest ppl are always the ones who decide to leave comments. I usually never take the time, but this time it's just ridiculous! Obviously Rush is not stating that the Presidents had anything to do with the success or demise or death of Michael Jackson. What he is stating and this is where the educated are separated from the un, is that there is a parallel between the Presidents and his reign and demise. Rush is a bleeding conservative, therefore he obviously would love to see the parallel between Jackson flourishing during the great Reagan years and ultimately dying during the devasation of such a socialist president, being Obama. It was a parallel and NOT meant to be literal as in Obama killing him! Stupid stupid people! The older I get the more I see it...

Your post convinced me this is true, being that it was the stupidest of all of them.
