Levi Johnston: Palin Resigned for the Money

In an interview with AP on Thursday, Levi Johnston continued his feud with Sarah Palin and her family. His view, he said, on why Palin resigned: money.

"When I was living there, even before Mr. McCain had picked her to run, you know, I'd seen how stressful this job was to her and, she'd come home, late at night and thinhs like that, and then after the running, you know, she had talked about how nice it would be to take some of this money people had been offering us and you know, just run with it, just saying 'forget everything else.'

I've heard about people offering books, and stuff like that, and actually there's a reality show they wanted to do; I think the big deal was the book. That was millions of dollars, and she couldn't do that if she was governor."
When asked if he would vote for Palin if she ran for President in 2012, Johnston said no. He added that if she couldn't handle the stress of being Alaskan governor, how could she handle being VP or President?

It is harder to have an entourage in Alaska, that is for sure. Without an entourage, is harder to deal with escalating responsibilities that were thrust upon Ms. Palin.

It seems to me that the lower 48 states do not respect the rugged, in tune with nature way of life that many Alaskans lead. That is what I find the most intriguing aspect of Sarah Palin as a politician, the ease with which many media scribes insulted here as if it was their duty to do so.
