Joyce DeWitt of "Three's Company" Arrested for DUI

"Come and knock on our door ..." That's the intro to the theme song from "Three's Company." And that's the show that actress Joyce Dewitt, 60, is best known for, playing Janet Wood AKA third banana on the show.

Seriously, Joyce DeWitt was arrested for DUI on July 4th in El Segundo, California. An officer saw DeWitt drive a vehicle past a traffic control barricade. As the officer spoke with DeWitt, he noticed the odor of alcohol.

Joyce DeWitt was given a field sobriety test, which she failed. She was arrested for DUI, but posted a $5,000 bail the next day and was released.

Besides "Three's Company," Joyce DeWitt pretty much did ... nothing. Really. She vanished after "Three's Company" and later stated she turned her back on Hollywood after what she perceived as poor treatment by the producers of "Three's Company."
