Sarah Palin Makes a Turkey of Herself

Isn't it enough that the President always "pardons" a turkey every year, meaning their life is spared --- forever --- now we have a governor doing it? Obviously Sarah Palin is trying to keep herself front and center in the news, but personally, this Sarah Palin Turkey Video will go down as at least as embarrassing as the Katie Couric interviews.

The event, as I said, was a turkey pardoning, but Palin was oblivious to the "action" behind her, in which a worker was "bleeding out" a turkey.

Honestly, it's not the fact that a worker behind Sarah Palin in the video is "bleeding out" a turkey. No, it's that she does not have the common sense to think about where to stand before being taped.

Possibly, the news crew asked her to stand there, but I would have looked behind me and said, "Nope, not a good place."

The footage was shot at a farm in Gov. Palin's hometown of Wasilla, Alaska. You can watch the turkey video below, if you dare.

Can this woman get any more disgusting? What next a visit to a whorehouse with the action going on in the background? Apparently she WAS asked if the spot was okay and she replied "No Worries" The woman has NO class whatsoever!

Um, don't you like turkey? I do. It's low fat! She was standing in exactly the right place to illicit hysterical complaints from hate filled liberals. If seeing that made you queasy and keeps you from eating turkey this year then Sarah deserves credit for saving at least part of one. But will she get credit; I think not. I must admit I'm baffled with all the Palin bashing so prevalent in the blogosphere. Mostly from women I see. Could it be jealousy? She's happy, successful and smokin' hot. What's not to hate, eh gals?

from a PR standpoint, one might give Palin the benefit of the doubt... but seriously, she might stop and give her surroundings a bit more consideration before she goes on interviews that millions will end up watching

No surprises here.

Don, if I may - not saying that I'm representing all those women you said hate her but I relate to how they feel about her.

It's not jealousy, it's derision. That a woman should be so uncaring about the fact that she needs to learn more is flabbergasting at best.

I don't mind the fact that there are things she doesn't know. But it is downright insulting because she thinks it is cute that she is clueless.

Don...You think this woman is hot?? She's ditzy. What serious politician would ever consider winking at a national audience. Obviously, she was pandering to people such as yourself.

Shirley is spot-on: derision is the correct description.

Don, FYI - NO I don't like turkey and never have. And, as a farm raised person, I have no qualms about where my food comes from.

The problem is that this dingbat was EVER put upfront as a potential VP is what disgusts me. I've seen smarter turnips.

Don, I agree with you! I am a woman and I think alot of women are jealous of Sarah because of her looks. I have dealt with stupid jealous remarks all my life and people not even know me, from women and men. And in regards to an anonymous blogger "about what serious Politician would ever consider winking at a national audience" and "pandering to people". What about Obama calling a reporter "Sweetie" that wasn't sexist and pandering with flattery?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!!!!!! This is hilarious. What a dumb bee. This trumps even Tina Fey's portrayals of Palin. She is her own best caricature! Too bad she didn't get in the White House. We would have had some really great comedy to watch. Well worth the sacrifice of seeing our nation and world come crashing down in a heap. Can't wait for her talk show!

As for the nation going down in flames: we have a total overeducated sh*th*ad in now (credit for term: Frank Zappa). He may can take a test, but he's not up to the test of these times. It'll almost be worth waiting in a breadline after this clown shoes finishes the economy off with is risky redistribution scheme. I'll bet he has a great speech about it, though. Alaska has been doing great under Palin; will we be able to say the nation is doing the same in six months under Obama?
