Cops' Racial Slurs Against Obama Investigated

When will people learn that when you post something on the Internet, not just on MySpace or Facebook, but definitely there, you are opening yourself up for a whole world of hurt? Ah, yes, never.

A pair of Durham, North Carolina police officers are under investigation for racial slurs or other derogatory remarks made against President-elect Barack Obama made on their MySpace pages.

According to Police Chief Jose L. Lopez Sr.,

"There's no exact words that were said. It wasn't a racial slur, but we're still investigating it."
Before anyone chimes in about freedom of speech, there is a clause in the police department's code of conduct, under the heading "Private Life." It says that an officer's "character and conduct while off duty must always be exemplary, thus maintaining a position of respect in the community in which he or she lives and serves. The officer's personal behavior must be beyond reproach."

The local branch of the NAACP requested that the postings be made public. Durham's NAACP president Fred Foster Jr. said to a local newspaper:
"We want to know if there will be transparency about those comments to the community and what disciplinary action if any will be taken against these officers. We believe that if these comments are against people of color, then it will be hard for those officers to serve and protect without prejudice and that they should not be allowed to wear the uniform representing public trust."

City Manager Tom Bonfield was notified of the investigation late Tuesday afternoon, and asked Lopez to complete it quickly.

Lopez added:

"As a police officer, it doesn't matter where you do it, if you provide disservice to the organization, it violates the code of conduct. It is a high standard that officers are held accountable to."

Excellent! They should be outed because we all know that if they are racially prejudiced it will cloud their judgment when dealing with the public. There are good cops out there who care, but these guys give them all a bad rep. Having two less A*holes out there would be doing us all a favor!!

There is will not be the only case of this. There are alot of people who are angry that Obama has been elected. Not because he is a black man. But because, he doesn't have the experience to lead this country. And he has a shady past that we don't much about.

America is in for some very hard and hatred field days I am afraid.

BREAKING NEWS: Obama The Fake The Dirty July 26th, 2008 THE DIRTY ARMY: My wonderful husband who is serving in Iraq sent me this message. Hello, As you know I am not a very political person. I just wanted to pass along that Senator Obama came to Bagram Afghanistan for about an hour on his visit to ‘The War Zone’. I wanted to share with you what happened. He got off the plane and got into a bullet proof vehicle, got to the area to meet with the Major General (2 Star) who is the commander here at Bagram. As the Soldiers where lined up to shake his hand he blew them off and didn’t say a word as he went into the conference room to meet the General. As he finished, the vehicles took him to the ClamShell (pretty much a big top tent that military personnel can play basketball or work out in with weights) so he could take his publicity pictures playing basketball. He again shunned the opportunity to talk to Soldiers to thank them for their service. So really he was just here to make a showing for the American’s back home that he is their candidate for President. I think that if you are going to make an effort to come all the way over here you would thank those that are providing the freedom that they are providing for you. I swear we got more thanks from the NBA Basketball Players or the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders than from one of the Senators, who wants to be the President of the United States. I just don’t understand how anyone would want him to be our Commander-and-Chief. It was almost that he was scared to be around those that provide the freedom for him and our great country. If this is blunt and to the point I am sorry but I wanted you all to know what kind of caliber of person he really is. What you see in the news is all fake. In service, this is a letter sent from a capt to his wife here in the states this is what the public should know
