Stein, Beck Compare Obama to Hitler, Mussolini --- Because of His Popularity?

Wow, and this was a segment from CNN, not from Faux News, where I would have expected it.

Barack Obama has announced that he will accept the Democratic nomination at INVESCO Field at Mile High Stadium in Denver. Glenn Beck and conservative commentator Ben Stein tried to cast a negative light on this.

Stein: "75,000 people in an outdoor sports palace, well, that's something the Fuhrer would have done."

Beck: "I've been saying that we're headed towards a Mussolini-style presidency, forever. I mean, it's crazy."

Stein: "75,000 people screaming in an outdoor arena? That's just too much, I mean, it's scarily authoritarian."
Mussolini and Hitler were both fascists, and people seem to throw about terms like fascism and socialism without a clue as to what it means. Fascism is (Dictionary.com):
a governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism.
As MSNBC host Dan Abrams said: "Are they kidding? I mean, a lot of people want to see Obama and that's bad?"

75,000 people in a stadium = fascism and The Fuhrer. Does this mean we can compare the Beatles to Hitler?

Watch the video, from MSNBC's Verdict, broadcast July 24, 2008.

Someone needs to call Godwin's Law on these guys!

Honestly, with this kind of crap coming out all the time, I don't see this big love affair McCain claims the media-at-large supposedly has with Obama; if anything, for every positive report in regards to him, something so unbelievably outragous comes out as to more than mitigate it.

Obama Hussein speaks very well, however he says nothing of substance

Obama is really "a much a do about nothing".

He's just a hollow man wrapped up in minority skin. Nothing of substance can he offer, just like a puppet.

What does that video prove? It was an edit of an edit. If he really did mean those things that way why not show the whole clip? Or would that defeat the purpose? Or are we afraid of sarcasm in America now? Do we need a law for that?

For the posters who claim Obama has "no substance" just want to believe that. I'm sure they usually go around spouting racism and illogical ignorance on a daily basis so this isn't anything new to them. They need go back and watch their brainwashing propaganda machine aka Fox Noise. I do feel a little sorry for them because they are going to find out that no matter how much racism and ignorance they have in their heart that's not going to stop fate, which is Obama's 100% guaranteed presidency.

And I have to say the fascism definition does some eerily similar to Republicans/Conservatives.
