Can Anyone Make McCain Exciting? Stephen Colbert's Latest Green Screen Challenge
Stephen Colbert's first "Green Screen Challenge" to viewers was to enhance a clip of Colbert wielding a lightsaber in front of a green screen. While that was a difficult enough challenge, he has issued a far more arduous one: "Stephen Colbert's Make McCain Exciting Challenge!."
Viewers need to replace the green screen behind John McCain during one of his speeches with something with something that will make him seem exciting.
The only more difficult task I could think of would be a challenge to make George W. Bush seem literate.
Colbert's challenge is below. And he enhanced it himself to show us all how to do it. As he said
I don't want to bog you down with TV technical jargon, but Jesus basically made green a magical color.Colbert's sample shows a lion stalking McCain.
So last week I answered McCain's call and spiced up his speech. Look out Senator! There's a lion right behind you! Get out of there! As shown below, Colbert already has entrants. I loved Drew Hudson's! But it won't be easy. As Colbert said:
I want to make "Make McCain Exciting" the clarion call of your generation. Just like "Beat the Nazis" or "Put a man on the moon." But only this will be much much harder. Here's the footage. Download and have at it. Based on past challenges, I can't wait to see what people come up with.
